Money can buy???

Today I saw Dolly Parton on a TV talk show....I am not sure of her age...however I know she is older than 29.  I mean really.....the lady looks like she is not even close to her natural age.  I am sure with her fame and fortune that she is able to have a host of special treatment done to her face and maybe other areas.  I have been a fan of Dolly's for over thirty years.  I have been to Dollywood and just look at her past music partners.  Kenny Rogers?  Yes we can see his plastic update went wrong.....

Less is More

When was the last time you really looked in your closets?  Do you really wear everything that is in there?  Do you have more than three sizes....because some day that ten year old outfit will fit again?  There is nothing like a move for example that will be the motivation you may need to purge......just remember...less is more! Don't forget to donate........there are those without closets.

Brain Drain???

I have lived in the Coulee Region my whole life.  Travels have taken me to a good amount of locations...and I have never entertained the thought of moving away from God's Country.  Today a news report said that a larger amount of graduating students move out of state to start their careers.  This makes you wounder if there is something we can do to keep our new Brains in Wisconsin.......something to ponder on a Monday.

Thump Thump

I heard a noise this morning .......a sparrow took a fast flight into our picture window.  Granted there are more sparrows than you can shake a stick at but the pain that the bird is in and the pain you feel for one of Gods creatures took me by surprise.  I did watch the little guy try to rebound.  I hope he does.  I know its just a bird.....guess I am more of a fan than I knew.

Bumper Stickers

Wow.......think about it.  The bumper sticker you install on your automobile is out there for all to see.  The one I saw.....I can't even spell it out for you.....because it was soooooo naughty.  I wonder how this persons family feels about riding with that adult message for all to read.  Above the naughty message was a family cartoon of the Mom and Dad two children and a dog.  

Tomorrow

Well...its almost here...not spring....not warmer weather.....tomorrow is the least favorite day of the year!  I bet you can guess......tax day.  I hope you are in the position of just waiting for your return and not doing the mad dash scramble to get your stuff filed.  I can see why most folks see tomorrow as a not so great day!

Up all night.

Last night I watched TV rather late.  I was called into action when a family member needed to go to the Doctor at a late hour.  I am an early bird.  Always have been.....always will I guess.  I was so interested in late night TV.  I don't recall the last time I viewed TV programming past ten PM.  I did not know any of the late night hosts!  Whats even more interesting the guests on the programs were actors I had never heard of!  I guess I need to stay up later more often!!!
