Wondering about when to put the trash out during the holidays?   The City of La Crosse's garbage collection is on schedule as usual.

The City of La Crosse will begin picking up Christmas trees from the boulevard beginning January 3rd and will continue through January 13th.  Please remove all lights, tinsel, ornaments, and tree bags and place trees on the boulevard by 7:00am.

Rotary Lights has once again partnered with Alter Scrap Metals in a recycling program and they are extending it to you. There is a container by the big eagle in Riverside Park for you to deposit the unwanted strands of Christmas Lights that you may want to get rid of. You can recycle your lights without adding them to the landfills and help Rotary Lights continue to grow and glow.

Yesterday I moved the tupperware cabinet...this upset the whole house.....I think the real reason is that I moved the snack cabinet as well.

I saw a robin get the worm this morning.....the gound must be getting softer.

Now that Spring is here it is going to feel like winter...what the heck.

A slow melt would be best for all of our friends that live and work near rivers.....lets hope for steady and slow.

Thanks to all staff, sponsors and families that attended yesterday's Family Fest. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Dilly Bar so much.

Family Fest is on Sunday at the La Crosse Center from 10:00-3:00. No admission charge and tickets will be given away to adults for Mt. Olympus water park in the Dells.

Fun time last night at the Wine Guyz with the girls for a Boys and Girls club fund raiser. Great way to help out a great group.

The lights are down but the food pantry's are restocked. Thanks to everyone who helped donate over 202,000 items of food for Rotary Lights this year.

A hour more of day light by the end on the month. It will be so nice driving home with out the head lights on.
