What was missing from your month of March?

Snow.....No snow for the month of March. How were we so lucky to do that? I know that there is a day or two to go......however did you hear our forecast? There just is not much of a change that snow would be an option when you have a seventy degree day on the way. Enjoy!

NASCAR's bad weather luck hit again yesterday at the Martinsville Speedway. The Spring Cup race will be scheduled for late morning today. So rain...rain...go away and come back after the checkered flag.

Galesville Guy Wins Big In Holmen

The Holmen American Legion was host to a great Jam party Thursday night. Mark from Galesville was the grand prize Country Jam winner. Special thanks as well go to FMB Trailer Sales for their continued support. More Jam tickets to win soon. Don't forget that we have a second bus headed to Jam July the 24th. Some seats remain. Come on July!!!

Paige hits the road


No surprise in our house. Last night idol voters sent Paige Miles home. This was a big night for the contestants as the top ten will make some good money on the 2010 tour. What do you think will happen next week? I am not so sure of the next cut.

It Feels Good to Clean Out Your Closet

A new season is here. Yesterday I spent some time sorting out a closet. I found many items that we no longer used. With some help and a couple of trips out to the car it was time to head to the Salvation Army Thrift store for the drop off our donations. I was greeted with smiles of gratitude. How nice. It made me feel good too. The Salvation Army Thrift Store is located at 728 Copeland Avenue on La Crosses North Side. Get cleaning!

Icy Monday

The listening area was awakened by an icy glaze this morning. The few degrees of warmer air over night brought us freezing drizzle rather than and inch or two of snow. It is always a good idea to leave your home a few minutes early and leave a good amount of space between your car the one in front of you. I know that these tips are common but we can forget them when we are focused on our busy day ahead of us. Conditions improved with time. Be careful.
